Key Features of the Portal Simple and Efficient Process: The portal provides a quick and easy platform for groundwater users to apply for an NOC in 19 states and union territories. Purpose and Significance The Bhooneer portal was designed to effectively implement the guidelines for groundwater regulation notified on September 24, 2020. It plays a crucial role in tackling the challenges of uncontrolled groundwater extraction by industries, infrastructure projects, and mining projects.
