The event aimed to bring together experts, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to discuss modern technologies and strategies for enhancing the fisheries sector through better processing, value addition, and reduction in post-harvest losses.
Objective of the Session
The session focused on innovations to:

• Reduce post-harvest losses.
• Improve product quality and productivity.
• Strengthen export potential of the fisheries sector.
• Enhance the income of fishermen through modern technology and sustainability.

Key Highlights

• The event aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to strengthen marine product processing through modern plants, cold chains, and smart ports.
• Technologies such as drones, transponders, and artificial reefs were showcased to ignite scientific curiosity and demonstrate practical innovations for fisheries modernization.

ESG Integration and Blue Revolution 2.0
The session emphasized integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in fisheries to align with Viksit Bharat 2047 and global sustainability goals.
It also focused on Blue Revolution 2.0, calling for strengthening cold-chain infrastructure, processing facilities, digital market access, and promoting value-added seafood products from underutilized species.

इस सत्र का उद्देश्य विशेषज्ञों, नीति निर्माताओं और उद्योग हितधारकों को एक मंच पर लाना था ताकि मत्स्यपालन क्षेत्र में नई तकनीकों और रणनीतियों के माध्यम से प्रसंस्करण, मूल्य संवर्धन और फसल उपरांत होने वाले नुकसान को कम करने के उपायों पर चर्चा की जा सके।
सत्र का उद्देश्य

• फसल उपरांत नुकसान को कम करना।
• उत्पाद की गुणवत्ता और उत्पादकता में सुधार करना।
• मत्स्यपालन क्षेत्र में निर्यात क्षमता को मजबूत बनाना।
• आधुनिक तकनीक और स्थिरता के माध्यम से मछुआरों की आय बढ़ाना।

• यह आयोजन प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के समुद्री उत्पाद प्रसंस्करण को आधुनिक संयंत्रों, कोल्ड चेन और स्मार्ट बंदरगाहों के माध्यम से सशक्त बनाने के आह्वान के अनुरूप रहा।
• इस अवसर पर ड्रोन, ट्रांसपोंडर और कृत्रिम रीफ जैसी आधुनिक तकनीकों का प्रदर्शन किया गया, जिससे आगंतुकों में वैज्ञानिक जिज्ञासा जागृत हुई।

ईएसजी सिद्धांत और ब्लू रिवोल्यूशन 2.0
सत्र में पर्यावरण, सामाजिक और शासन (ईएसजी) सिद्धांतों को मत्स्यपालन क्षेत्र में एकीकृत करने के महत्व को रेखांकित किया गया ताकि इसे विकसित भारत 2047 और वैश्विक स्थिरता लक्ष्यों से जोड़ा जा सके।
इसके साथ ही ब्लू रिवोल्यूशन 2.0 के अंतर्गत कोल्ड चेन अवसंरचना, प्रसंस्करण सुविधाओं और डिजिटल बाजार पहुंच को मजबूत करने तथा कम उपयोग की गई प्रजातियों से मूल्यवर्धित समुद्री उत्पादों को बढ़ावा देने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया गया।
