इंडिया-एआई इम्पैक्ट शिखर सम्मेलन 2026 / India-AI Impact Summit 2026

पहली बार किसी ग्लोबल साउथ राष्ट्र द्वारा आयोजित यह शिखर सम्मेलन लोगों, पृथ्वी और प्रगति के सिद्धांतों या सूत्रों द्वारा निर्देशित है। चर्चाएं 7 विषयगत चक्रों- मानव पूंजी, समावेशन, सुरक्षित और विश्वसनीय एआई, लचीलापन, विज्ञान, एआई संसाधनों का लोकतंत्रीकरण और सामाजिक कल्याण पर केंद्रित हैं, जो इस बात पर बल देती हैं कि एआई कैसे नागरिकों, समुदायों और विश्व के लिए समान रूप से एक प्रभावशाली शक्ति हो सकती है।
शुरू की गई प्रमुख पहलों में शामिल हैं: 
एआई पिच फेस्ट (उड़ान): इसमें दुनिया भर के नवोन्मेषी एआई स्टार्टअप और भारत के टियर 2 और 3 केंद्रों के उच्च-संभावित उद्यमों को प्रदर्शित किया जाएगा जिसमें महिला नेताओं और दिव्यांग परिवर्तनकर्ताओं पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाएगा।
युवाओं, महिलाओं और अन्य प्रतिभागियों के लिए वैश्विक नवाचार चुनौतियां: इस पहल का उद्देश्य एआई-संचालित समाधानों को बढ़ावा देना है जो विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में वास्तविक दुनिया की सार्वजनिक चुनौतियों का समाधान करते हैं।
अनुसंधान संगोष्ठी: एक दिवसीय अंतःविषयक सभा अत्याधुनिक एआई अनुसंधान मंच को प्रदर्शित करेगी जिसमें देश, ग्लोबल साउथ और व्यापक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समुदाय अग्रणी शोधकर्ताओं और पेशेवरों को एआई के प्रभाव पर अग्रणी कार्य प्रस्तुत करने, विधियों और साक्ष्यों का आदान-प्रदान करने और सहयोग स्थापित करने के लिए आमंत्रित किया जाएगा।

आठ नए आधारभूत मॉडल पहलों का शुभारंभ: 
इंडियाएआई फाउंडेशन मॉडल्स स्तंभ के अंतर्गत, भारत-विशिष्ट डेटा पर प्रशिक्षित स्वदेशी एआई मॉडल बनाने के लिए आठ अग्रणी परियोजनाएं शुरू की गई हैं। ये पहल बहुभाषी और डोमेन-विशिष्ट मॉडल, वैज्ञानिक खोज, स्वास्थ्य सेवा और औद्योगिक नवाचार को कवर करती हैं जो भारत में एआई नेतृत्व की नींव रखती हैं।
अवतार एआई-70B पैरामीटर तक के विशिष्ट "एआई अवतार" बनाना जो भारतीय भाषाओं और कृषि, स्वास्थ्य सेवा व शासन जैसे क्षेत्रों के लिए अनुकूलित हों।
आईआईटी बॉम्बे कंसोर्टियम-भारत जेन- कृषि, वित्त, कानूनी, स्वास्थ्य और शिक्षा में अनुप्रयोगों का समर्थन करने के लिए एक ओपन-सोर्स दृष्टिकोण के साथ 2B से 1T पैरामीटर तक के बहुभाषी और मल्टीमॉडल मॉडल विकसित करना।
फ्रैक्टल एनालिटिक्स लिमिटेड- संरचित तर्क, विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी, इंजीनियरिंग और गणित विषयों और चिकित्सा समस्या-समाधान के लिए डिजाइन किए गए 70B पैरामीटर तक के भारत के पहले बड़े तर्क मॉडल का निर्माण।
टेक महिंद्रा मेकर्स लैब- भारतीय भाषाओं (हिंदी बोलियों पर केंद्रित) के लिए एक कुशल 8B पैरामीटर मॉडल तैयार करना। साथ ही सरकारी अनुप्रयोगों के लिए एक एजेंटिक एआई प्लेटफ़ॉर्म, ओरियन का डिज़ाइन तैयार करना।
जेंटेइक- इंजीनियरिंग इंटेलिजेंस, वैज्ञानिक कंप्यूटिंग और औद्योगिक नवाचार को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए एक विज्ञान-संचालित मल्टीमॉडल फ़ाउंडेशन मॉडल (8B-80B पैरामीटर) ब्रह्मएआई का विकास करना।
जेनलूप- छोटे भाषा मॉडल (2B पैरामीटर)- युक्ति (बेस), वार्ता (निर्देश), और कवच (गार्ड) का निर्माण करना ताकि सभी 22 अनुसूचित भारतीय भाषाओं को मूल तर्क और सामग्री मॉडरेशन के साथ समर्थन मिल सके।
इंटेलीहेल्थ- तंत्रिका संबंधी विकारों की शीघ्र जांच और ब्रेन-कंप्यूटर इंटरफेस अनुसंधान को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए ईईजी सिग्नल विश्लेषण हेतु 20B पैरामीटर मॉडल का प्रस्ताव।
शोध एआई- सामग्री खोज के लिए 7B पैरामीटर मॉडल विकसित करना, सामग्री विज्ञान में नवाचार को गति देने के लिए प्रयोगात्मक वर्कफ़्लो में एआई को एकीकृत करना।
30 इंडियाएआई डेटा और एआई लैब्स का शुभारंभ: पूरे भारत में 30 डेटा और एआई लैब्स लॉन्च किए गए हैं जो 570 लैब नेटवर्क की पहली चरण का निर्माण करते हैं। पहली 27 लैब्स राष्ट्रीय इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान के साथ साझेदारी में हैं जो प्रमुख टियर 2 और 3 शहरों में स्थापित हैं और तीन अत्याधुनिक लैब्स इंटेल के साथ मोकोकचुंग, महू और मोहाली में स्थापित की गई हैं। ये लैब्स इंडियाएआई मिशन की फ्यूचरस्किल्स पहल के तहत आधारभूत एआई और डेटा प्रशिक्षण पाठ्यक्रम प्रदान करेंगी।
डेटा एनोटेशन और डेटा क्यूरेशन पर आधारभूत पाठ्यक्रम: डेटा और एआई लैब्स नेटवर्क के माध्यम से संचालित, नए आधारभूत पाठ्यक्रमों का उद्देश्य शिक्षार्थियों को डेटा एनोटेशन (चित्र, टेक्स्ट, ऑडियो) और डेटा क्यूरेशन (डेटासेट को व्यवस्थित और लेबल करना) में प्रवेश-स्तरीय प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करके एआई अर्थव्यवस्था में भाग लेने के लिए तैयार करना है।
तीन सूत्र
यह शिखर सम्मेलन तीन मार्गदर्शक सिद्धांतों या सूत्रों पर आधारित होगा:
लोग: एआई को अपनी समस्त विविधता में मानवता की सेवा करनी चाहिए, सांस्कृतिक पहचान का सम्मान करना चाहिए, गरिमा की रक्षा करनी चाहिए और यह सुनिश्चित करना चाहिए कि कोई भी पीछे न छूटे। फोकस क्षेत्रों में एआई-सक्षम दुनिया में मानव विकास, बहुभाषी और सुलभ प्रणालियां और सुरक्षित एवं विश्वसनीय परिनियोजन शामिल हैं।
पृथ्वी: एआई का विकास और परिनियोजन संसाधन-कुशल होना चाहिए और साथ ही जलवायु लचीलापन, पर्यावरण संरक्षण और वैज्ञानिक खोजों में तेजी लानी चाहिए। एआई को ग्रहीय प्रबंधन और वैश्विक स्थिरता लक्ष्यों के अनुरूप होना चाहिए।
प्रगति: एआई के लाभों का समान वितरण सुनिश्चित करना, डेटासेट, कंप्यूट और मॉडल तक पहुंच का लोकतंत्रीकरण करना और स्वास्थ्य सेवा, शिक्षा, शासन और कृषि में एआई का अनुप्रयोग करना।
सात चक्र
इन सूत्रों को सात चक्रों के माध्यम से क्रियान्वित किया जाता है जो बहुपक्षीय सहयोग के क्षेत्र हैं जिन्हें मूर्त परिणाम देने के लिए तैयार किया गया है:

दृढ़ता, नवाचार और दक्षता- संसाधन-कुशल एआई को बढ़ावा देना, जो हल्का और स्थानीय वास्तविकताओं के अनुकूल हो जिससे असमानताएं और पर्यावरणीय लागत कम हों।

एआई संसाधनों का लोकतंत्रीकरण- डेटा, कंप्यूटिंग, मॉडल और महत्वपूर्ण बुनियादी ढांचे तक समान पहुंच के लिए रास्ते बनाना, जिससे वैश्विक वास्तविकताओं को प्रतिबिंबित करने वाले विविध एआई समाधान संभव हो सकें।
आर्थिक विकास और सामाजिक कल्याण के लिए एआई- जनहित के क्षेत्रों में एआई अनुप्रयोगों की पहचान और उनका विस्तार करना, ज्ञान और संसाधन साझा करने के लिए प्लेटफॉर्म बनाना, सीमा पार सहयोग को सक्षम बनाना।

The summit, hosted by a Global South nation for the first time, is guided by the principles of people, planet, and progress. Discussions focus on seven thematic cycles: human capital, inclusion, safe and reliable AI, resilience, science, democratization of AI resources, and social well-being, emphasizing how AI can be a powerful force for citizens, communities, and the world alike.
Key initiatives launched include:
AI Pitch Fest (Udaan): This will showcase innovative AI startups from around the world and high-potential enterprises from Tier 2 and 3 centers in India, with a special focus on women leaders and disability changemakers.
Global Innovation Challenges for Youth, Women, and Other Participants: This initiative aims to promote AI-powered solutions that address real-world public challenges across various sectors.
Research Symposium: A one-day interdisciplinary gathering will showcase a cutting-edge AI research platform, inviting leading researchers and professionals from across the country, the Global South, and the broader international community to present pioneering work on the impact of AI, exchange methods and evidence, and establish collaborations.
AI Expo: The Responsible Intelligence Expo will feature over 300 exhibitors from India and over 30 countries, with over 10 thematic pavilions.
Eight New Foundation Model Initiatives Launched:
Under the IndiaAI Foundation Models pillar, eight pioneering projects have been launched to build indigenous AI models trained on India-specific data. These initiatives cover multilingual and domain-specific models, scientific discovery, healthcare, and industrial innovation, laying the foundation for AI leadership in India.
Avatar AI – Creating unique "AI avatars" with up to 70B parameters, optimized for Indian languages ​​and sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, and governance.
IIT Bombay Consortium-Bharat Zen – Developing multilingual and multimodal models ranging from 2B to 1T parameters with an open-source approach to support applications in agriculture, finance, legal, healthcare, and education.
Fractal Analytics Limited – Building India's first large logic model with up to 70B parameters designed for structured reasoning, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics subjects, and medical problem-solving.
Tech Mahindra Makers Lab – Developing an efficient 8B parameter model for Indian languages ​​(focused on Hindi dialects) and designing Orion, an agentic AI platform for government applications.
Genteik – Developing BrahmaAI, a science-driven multimodal foundation model (8B-80B parameters) to advance engineering intelligence, scientific computing, and industrial innovation.
Genloop – Building small language models (2B parameters) – Yukti (Base), Varta (Instructions), and Kavach (Guards) – to support all 22 scheduled Indian languages ​​with native logic and content moderation.
IntelliHealth - Proposing a 20B parameter model for EEG signal analysis to advance early diagnosis of neurological disorders and brain-computer interface research.
Research AI - Developing a 7B parameter model for materials discovery, integrating AI into experimental workflows to accelerate innovation in materials science.
Launch of 30 IndiaAI Data and AI Labs: 30 Data and AI Labs have been launched across India, forming the first phase of a 570-lab network. The first 27 labs are in partnership with the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, located in key Tier 2 and 3 cities, and three state-of-the-art labs have been established with Intel in Mokokchung, Mhow, and Mohali. These labs will provide foundational AI and data training courses under the IndiaAI Mission's FutureSkills initiative.
Foundational Courses on Data Annotation and Data Curation: Powered through the Data & AI Labs Network, new foundational courses aim to prepare learners to participate in the AI ​​economy by providing entry-level training in data annotation (images, text, audio) and data curation (organizing and labeling datasets).
Three Principles
The summit will be based on three guiding principles or principles:
People: AI should serve humanity in all its diversity, respect cultural identities, protect dignity, and ensure no one is left behind. Focus areas include human development in an AI-enabled world, multilingual and accessible systems, and secure and reliable deployment.
Earth: AI development and deployment should be resource-efficient and also contribute to climate resilience, environmental protection, and accelerate scientific discoveries. AI should be consistent with planetary management and global sustainability goals.
Progress: Ensuring equitable distribution of the benefits of AI, democratizing access to datasets, compute, and models, and applying AI to healthcare, education, governance, and agriculture.

These principles are implemented through seven cycles, which are areas of multilateral cooperation designed to deliver tangible results.

Inclusion for Social Empowerment - Promote AI that reflects languages, cultures, and identities; ensure access for persons with disabilities, and prevent gender bias and data bias.
Safe and Trusted AI - Providing democratic access to security testing, transparency, and auditing tools; building interoperable governance and assurance mechanisms.
Robustness, Innovation, and Efficiency - Promote resource-efficient AI that is lightweight and adapts to local realities, thereby reducing inequalities and environmental costs.
Science - Expanding the responsible use of AI to accelerate research and discovery; strengthening ecosystems and partnerships in the Global South, promoting open, interdisciplinary research.
Democratization of AI Resources - Creating pathways for equitable access to data, computing, models, and critical infrastructure, enabling diverse AI solutions that reflect global realities.
AI for Economic Growth and Social Welfare – Identifying and scaling up AI applications in areas of public interest, creating platforms for knowledge and resource sharing, enabling cross-border collaboration.
