आदि वाणी के बारे में:
आदि वाणी केवल कृत्रिम बुद्धि (एआई) आधारित अनुवाद उपकरण ही नहीं है, बल्कि समुदायों को जोड़ने और सांस्कृतिक पहचान को संरक्षित करने का एक मंच भी है। यह पहल लुप्त प्राय भाषाओं के डिजिटलीकरण में सहायता करेगी, मूल भाषाओं में शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य सेवा और शासन तक पहुँच में सुधार करेगी, जनजातीय उद्यमिता को बढ़ावा देगी और शोधकर्ताओं के लिए ज्ञान के स्रोत के रूप में कार्य करेगी।
आदि वाणी को आईआईटी दिल्ली के नेतृत्व वाले एक राष्ट्रीय संघ द्वारा बिट्स  पिलानी, आईआईआईटी हैदराबाद, आईआईआईटी नवा रायपुर और झारखंड, ओडिशा, मध्य प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़ और मेघालय के जनजातीय अनुसंधान संस्थानों के सहयोग से विकसित किया गया है।

भारत की आदिवासी भाषाई विरासत का डिजिटलीकरण और संरक्षण करके, आदि वाणी डिजिटल इंडिया, एक भारत श्रेष्ठ भारत, पीएम जनमन, आदि कर्मयोगी अभियान और धरती आबा जनजातीय ग्राम उत्कर्ष अभियान के दृष्टिकोण के साथ संरेखित है। यह मंच कम संसाधन वाली भाषा संरक्षण के लिए एक अग्रणी वैश्विक मॉडल स्थापित करता है और 2047 तक एक समावेशी, ज्ञान-संचालित विकसित भारत के निर्माण में 20 लाख से अधिक आदिवासी परिवर्तन नेतृत्वकर्ताओं को सशक्त बनाने की उम्मीद है।

About Adi Vani:
Adi Vani is not only an artificial intelligence (AI)-based translation tool, but also a platform to connect communities and preserve cultural identity. This initiative will aid in the digitization of endangered languages, improve access to education, healthcare, and governance in native languages, promote tribal entrepreneurship, and serve as a source of knowledge for researchers.
Adi Vani has been developed by a national consortium led by IIT Delhi in collaboration with BITS Pilani, IIIT Hyderabad, IIIT Nava Raipur, and tribal research institutes from Jharkhand, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Meghalaya.
Key features include:
Real-time text and speech translation between Hindi, English, and tribal languages
Interactive language learning modules for students and early learners
Digitization of folk tales, oral traditions, and cultural heritage
Health information in tribal languages ​​and subtitled advisories and government messages, including Prime Minister's speeches
Inclusive access to education, healthcare, and governance in native languages
Moving towards the Developed India 2047 vision
By digitizing and preserving India's tribal linguistic heritage, Adi Vani aligns with the visions of Digital India, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, PM Janman, Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, and Dharti Aaba Janjati Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan. This platform establishes a leading global model for under-resourced language preservation and is expected to empower over 2 million tribal change leaders in building an inclusive, knowledge-driven, developed India by 2047.
