NHAI Releases Sustainability Report 2023-24, Highlights ESG Commitment

Organizers: National Statistical Office (NSO) in collaboration with the Innovation Cell of the Ministry of Education (MoE).
Objective: To leverage emerging technologies and innovative solutions to transform the landscape of official statistics in India.
Context: This initiative marks the 75th anniversary of the National Sample Survey (NSS).
Problem Statements: The challenge is focused on five key areas covering the data lifecycle (collection, processing, and dissemination):
API Gateway for Survey Datasets.
AI-powered Smart Survey Tools (multilingual and mobile-friendly).
AI-enhanced Applications for Automated Data Processing.
Semantic Search for Business Classification (using NLP and Gen AI).
Evaluation and Enhancement of Data Anonymization Practices for privacy and security.
Eligibility: Registrations and idea submissions are open for one month. Interested participants can apply at https://gc.mic.gov.in/home.
Selection Process:
Phase 1: 50 teams will be selected and provided with mentorship and training.
Phase 2: 25 of these teams will receive financial support of ₹50,000 each to develop their solutions.
Prizes:
Winners: ₹1,00,000 for each problem category.
Runners-up: ₹50,000 for each problem category.

व्यवसाय वर्गीकरण के लिए सीमेंटिक सर्च (NLP और Gen AI का उपयोग करके)।
डेटा गोपनीयता के लिए गुमनामीकरण (Anonymization) प्रथाओं का मूल्यांकन और सुधार।
