भारत में चिकित्सा शिक्षा पर अद्यतन – डॉक्टर अनुपात और सीट वृद्धि
एलोपैथिक और आयुष चिकित्सकों की उपलब्धता के आधार पर भारत का डॉक्टर-जनसंख्या अनुपात 1:811 अनुमानित है। वर्ष 2014 से मेडिकल कॉलेजों की संख्या 387 से बढ़कर 818 हो गई है, यूजी मेडिकल सीटें 51,348 से 1,28,875 हो गई हैं, तथा पिछले दशक में पीजी मेडिकल सीटें 31,185 से 82,059 तक बढ़ी हैं। भारतीय नर्सिंग परिषद के अनुसार, 42.94 लाख पंजीकृत नर्सिंग कर्मी हैं, जिन्हें 5,253 नर्सिंग संस्थानों द्वारा समर्थन प्राप्त है तथा ये संस्थान प्रतिवर्ष लगभग 3.87 लाख नर्सों का उत्पादन करते हैं।

गैर-जीवाश्म ईंधन स्रोतों से 50% स्थापित बिजली क्षमता प्राप्त
भारत ने अपनी स्थापित बिजली क्षमता का 50% गैर-जीवाश्म ईंधन स्रोतों (नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा, जलविद्युत, परमाणु ऊर्जा आदि) से प्राप्त कर लिया है, जो पेरिस समझौते के राष्ट्रीय निर्धारित योगदान (NDC) लक्ष्य से पाँच वर्ष पूर्व ही हासिल हो गया है। 31 अक्टूबर 2025 तक गैर-जीवाश्म स्रोतों से स्थापित क्षमता लगभग 259 गीगावाट है, तथा चालू वित्त वर्ष में अक्टूबर 2025 तक 31.2 गीगावाट की वृद्धि की अपेक्षा है। यह उपलब्धि भारत की जलवायु प्रतिबद्धता और स्वच्छ ऊर्जा संक्रमण में तेजी को दर्शाती है।

जैव-आधारित अगली क्रांति और RDI फंड
अगली क्रांति जैव-आधारित (bio-based) होगी, तथा भारत के डीप-टेक भविष्य को सशक्त बनाने हेतु RDI (Research, Development & Innovation) फंड एक अनूठा कदम है। केंद्रीय मंत्री ने घोषणा की कि सरकार, उद्योग और निवेशकों के बीच साझेदारी को बढ़ावा देने के लिए 1 लाख करोड़ रुपये का कोष स्थापित किया जाएगा। टियर-2 और टियर-3 शहरों के लगभग 60,000 स्टार्टअप नवाचार के विकेंद्रीकरण को प्रमाणित करते हैं, जो अब केवल महानगरों तक सीमित नहीं रह गया है।

Update on Medical Education in India – Doctor Ratio and Seat Growth
India's doctor-to-population ratio is estimated at 1:811 based on the availability of allopathic and AYUSH doctors. The number of medical colleges has risen from 387 in 2014 to 818, UG medical seats from 51,348 to 1,28,875, and PG medical seats have increased from 31,185 to 82,059 over the last decade. According to the Indian Nursing Council, there are 42.94 lakh registered nursing personnel supported by 5,253 nursing institutes, which produce approximately 3.87 lakh nurses annually.

50% Installed Power Capacity from Non-Fossil Fuel Sources Achieved
India has achieved 50% of its installed electricity capacity from non-fossil fuel sources (renewables, hydro, nuclear etc.), five years ahead of the Paris Agreement's Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) target. As of 31 October 2025, the installed capacity from non-fossil sources stands at approximately 259 GW, with an expected addition of 31.2 GW by October 2025 in the current financial year. This milestone highlights India's accelerated clean energy transition and climate commitments.

Next Revolution will be Bio-based & RDI Fund
The next revolution will be bio-based, and the RDI (Research, Development & Innovation) Fund is a unique step to empower India's deep-tech future. The Union Minister announced the creation of a ₹1 lakh crore fund to foster partnerships between government, industry and investors. Around 60,000 startups in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities prove that innovation is no longer confined to metros alone.
