Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana

Approval: Approved by the Union Cabinet for a period of 6 years.
Implementation: To be implemented starting from the financial year 2025-26.
Coverage: 100 districts across the country. The scheme is inspired by the NITI Aayog's Aspirational Districts Programme.
Main Objectives:
Increase agricultural productivity.
Promote crop diversification.
Adopt sustainable farming practices.
Enhance post-harvest storage capacity at the Panchayat and Block levels.
Improve irrigation facilities.
Facilitate easy access to both long-term and short-term credit for farmers.
Selection Criteria for Districts:
The 100 districts will be identified based on three key indicators: low productivity, low cropping intensity, and low credit disbursement.
At least one district from each state/union territory will be selected.
Implementation Strategy:
The scheme will be a convergence of 36 existing schemes from 11 different departments, other state-level schemes, and local private sector participation.
Monitoring and Governance:
Committees will be formed at the district, state, and national levels for planning, implementation, and monitoring.
At the district level, the 'District Dhan-Dhanya Committee,' which will include progressive farmers, will finalize the plans.
Progress will be monitored monthly via a dashboard using 117 key performance indicators.
NITI Aayog and a Central Nodal Officer in each district will also conduct regular reviews.
Expected Outcomes:
Increase in overall productivity.
Value addition in the agricultural and allied sectors.
Creation of local livelihoods.
Growth in domestic production, contributing to the 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' (Self-Reliant India) goal.

योजना का नाम: प्रधानमंत्री धन-धान्य कृषि योजना
मंजूरी: केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने 6 साल की अवधि के लिए मंजूरी दी।
प्रारंभ: 2025-26 से लागू होगी।
क्षेत्र: 100 जिलों में। यह नीति आयोग के आकांक्षी जिला कार्यक्रम से प्रेरित है।
मुख्य उद्देश्य:

किसानों को दीर्घकालिक और अल्पकालिक ऋण आसानी से उपलब्ध कराना।
चयन का आधार:
100 जिलों का चयन तीन प्रमुख संकेतकों के आधार पर होगा: कम उत्पादकता, कम फसल सघनता और अल्प ऋण वितरण।
प्रत्येक राज्य/केंद्र शासित प्रदेश से कम से कम एक जिला शामिल किया जाएगा।
कार्यान्वयन:
यह योजना 11 विभागों की 36 मौजूदा योजनाओं और राज्यों की अन्य योजनाओं को मिलाकर लागू की जाएगी।
इसमें निजी क्षेत्र की स्थानीय भागीदारी भी होगी।
निगरानी:
जिला, राज्य और राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर समितियां बनाई जाएंगी।
जिला स्तर पर 'जिला धन-धान्य समिति' योजना को अंतिम रूप देगी, जिसमें प्रगतिशील किसान भी सदस्य होंगे।
मासिक डैशबोर्ड के माध्यम से 117 प्रमुख कार्य निष्पादन संकेतकों पर प्रगति की निगरानी की जाएगी।
नीति आयोग और केंद्रीय नोडल अधिकारी भी नियमित समीक्षा करेंगे।
