स्वच्छ शहर जोड़ी (SSJ) पहल / Swachh Shehar Jodi (SSJ) Initiative

भागीदारी: देशभर के लगभग 300 शहरों ने आपसी सहयोग और ज्ञान हस्तांतरण के लिए समझौता ज्ञापन (MoUs) पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं।
संरचना: इस कार्यक्रम में 72 संरक्षक शहर (Mentor Cities) और लगभग 200 प्रशिक्षु शहर (Mentee Cities) शामिल हैं।
उद्देश्य: प्रत्येक शहर को स्वच्छता से जुड़ी सर्वोत्तम कार्यप्रणालियों का लाभ दिलाना ताकि कोई भी शहर पीछे न रह जाए।
शुभारंभ स्थल: हरियाणा के सोनीपत में केंद्रीय मंत्री श्री मनोहर लाल द्वारा, राज्य मंत्री श्री तोखन साहू और मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह सैनी की उपस्थिति में किया गया।
सुपर स्वच्छ लीग: 2022 से 2024 के बीच शीर्ष तीन स्थान पाने वाले शहरों को शामिल कर लगातार सुधार के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने की पहल की गई।
100-दिवसीय कार्यक्रम: हर संरक्षक-प्रशिक्षु शहर की जोड़ी एक ठोस कार्ययोजना बनाएगी ताकि अनुभव साझा करने और सीखने की प्रक्रिया को परिणामोन्मुख बनाया जा सके।
मूल्यांकन: इस पहल के परिणामों का आकलन स्वच्छ सर्वेक्षण 2026 में किया जाएगा।
मुख्य भावना: “अंत्योदय” — कोई भी शहर पीछे न छूटे, सभी शहर स्वच्छ भारत मिशन के सामूहिक ज्ञान से लाभान्वित हों।

Participation: Around 300 cities have signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to collaborate on knowledge sharing and mentorship.
Structure: The programme pairs 72 “mentor cities” (top performers in Swachh Survekshan rankings) with about 200 “mentee cities” (lower-ranked cities).
Objective: To ensure that every city benefits from the collective knowledge and best practices of the top-performing cities.
Implementation: The initiative is part of the Swachh Bharat Mission–Urban (SBM-U) and was launched in Sonipat, Haryana, by Union Minister Manohar Lal, in the presence of Minister of State Tokhan Sahu and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
Super Swachh League: Introduced to recognize the top-performing cities from 2022–2024 across population categories, encouraging continuous improvement.
100-Day Programme: Each mentor-mentee pair will develop specific work plans for experience-sharing and measurable progress in sanitation.
Evaluation: The outcomes of this mentorship initiative will be reflected in Swachh Survekshan 2026.
Goal: To ensure that no city is left behind in achieving cleanliness and sustainable waste management, in line with the Antyodaya spirit — upliftment of all.
