'Youth Spiritual Summit': An Initiative for a Drug-Free India 🙏

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports is organizing a 'Youth Spiritual Summit' from July 19-20, 2025, in Varanasi. The summit aims to inspire young people in India to join a movement against drug abuse. The theme of this initiative is 'Drug-Free Youth for a Developed India'.
Key Highlights of the Summit
Location: Rudraksh Convention Center, Varanasi.
Participants: Over 500 youth representatives from more than 100 spiritual and socio-cultural organizations across the country.
Objective:
To leverage India's spiritual heritage and youth power to foster a collective national resolve against drug abuse.
To launch a value-based, youth-led mass movement.
Sessions and Discussion Topics
The two-day summit will feature four plenary sessions to discuss critical topics:
Understanding the Psychological and Social Impact of Addiction: How to understand and cope with addiction.
Dismantling Supply and Trafficking Networks: Strategies to break the drug supply chain.
Effective Grassroots Campaigns: Creating effective campaigns and communication strategies.
Blueprint for a Drug-Free India: Developing a comprehensive action plan.
These discussions will provide a platform for young people to share their ideas and innovations.
'Kashi Declaration' and Future Plans
Kashi Declaration: The summit will conclude on July 20 with the release of the 'Kashi Declaration'. This document will reflect the collective vision and commitment of youth and spiritual leaders to create a drug-free India. It will serve as a guiding charter for policymakers and civil society organizations.
Mass Movement: In collaboration with the MY Bharat platform, the summit will launch a national mass movement against drugs. MY Bharat volunteers and affiliated youth clubs will lead awareness campaigns, pledge drives, and grassroots outreach activities in villages and cities.
Goal: To build a sustainable national movement driven by moral conviction and participatory leadership.
'युवा आध्यात्मिक शिखर सम्मेलन': नशा मुक्त भारत के लिए एक पहल 🙏
युवा कार्यक्रम एवं खेल मंत्रालय 19-20 जुलाई, 2025 को वाराणसी में 'युवा आध्यात्मिक शिखर सम्मेलन' का आयोजन कर रहा है। इसका उद्देश्य भारत के युवाओं को नशीली दवाओं के दुरुपयोग के खिलाफ एक आंदोलन के लिए प्रेरित करना है। इस पहल का विषय 'विकसित भारत के लिए नशा मुक्त युवा' है।
शिखर सम्मेलन की मुख्य बातें
स्थान: रुद्राक्ष कन्वेंशन सेंटर, वाराणसी।
प्रतिभागी: देश भर के 100 से अधिक आध्यात्मिक और सामाजिक-सांस्कृतिक संगठनों के 500 से अधिक युवा प्रतिनिधि।
उद्देश्य:
भारत की आध्यात्मिक विरासत और युवा शक्ति का उपयोग करके नशीली दवाओं के दुरुपयोग के खिलाफ एक सामूहिक राष्ट्रीय संकल्प को बढ़ावा देना।
एक मूल्य-आधारित, युवा-नेतृत्व वाले जन-आंदोलन की शुरुआत करना।
सत्र और चर्चा के विषय
दो-दिवसीय शिखर सम्मेलन में चार पूर्ण सत्र होंगे, जहाँ महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर चर्चा की जाएगी:
नशे के मनोवैज्ञानिक और सामाजिक प्रभाव: व्यसन को समझना और उसका सामना कैसे करें।
आपूर्ति और तस्करी को ध्वस्त करना: नशीली दवाओं की आपूर्ति श्रृंखला को तोड़ने के लिए रणनीतियाँ।
जमीनी स्तर पर अभियान: प्रभावी अभियान और संचार रणनीतियाँ बनाना।
नशा मुक्त भारत का प्रारूप: एक व्यापक कार्ययोजना तैयार करना।
इन चर्चाओं के माध्यम से युवा अपने विचारों और नवाचारों को साझा कर सकेंगे।
'काशी घोषणापत्र' और भविष्य की योजना
काशी घोषणापत्र: 20 जुलाई को शिखर सम्मेलन के समापन पर 'काशी घोषणापत्र' का विमोचन किया जाएगा। यह घोषणापत्र नशा मुक्त भारत के लिए युवाओं और आध्यात्मिक नेताओं के सामूहिक दृष्टिकोण और प्रतिबद्धताओं को दर्शाएगा।
जन-आंदोलन: यह शिखर सम्मेलन MY Bharat प्लेटफॉर्म के साथ मिलकर एक राष्ट्रीय जन-आंदोलन की शुरुआत करेगा। MY Bharat के स्वयंसेवक गांवों और शहरों में जागरूकता अभियान, प्रतिज्ञा अभियान और जमीनी स्तर पर गतिविधियों का नेतृत्व करेंगे।
लक्ष्य: एक नैतिक और सहभागी नेतृत्व द्वारा संचालित एक सतत राष्ट्रीय आंदोलन का निर्माण करना।
